At JMH, we are committed to ensuring that our employees, clients, and stakeholders operate within a safe and healthy business environment. Executive management will lead by example, ensuring that the appropriate standards, policies, and procedures are timely, relevant, and communicated to achieve our goal of zero occupational injuries and illnesses. The health and safety policy is overseen by the executive management of the company, and aligned with our shared values..

Although the executive management of JMH is ultimately accountable for the health & safety of its people, we believe that all employees and stakeholders of the company have shared responsibility in their own personal and professional conduct. JMH will provide the tools and resources necessary to ensure that employees are competent in the management of their health & safety responsibilities.

We will comply with all relevant federal, provincial and municipal acts, legislation, codes, regulations, standards and procedures, continuously striving for health & safety excellence in all areas of our business..

Continuous Improvement

JMH will review the policy annually, ensuring that the organization strives for not only meeting the requirements of legislation, but the changing expectations of our employees, clients and stakeholders from an environmental, social, and economic point of view.We will consistently improve our awareness, identification, competency and performance on how we manage health & safety issues within our workplace.

Response

In the event of an incident, JMH will be prepared to respond in a prompt manner, minimizing the impact of the incident, while protecting the health & safety of its employees. Executive management will also ensure that the emergency and business equipment available for use is always in good repair and does not pose any health or safety risk.
