Kelly R. Byers - CA
Kelly began his articling with JMH in 1969 after moving from Swift Current, Saskatchewan, where he was born and raised. He received his C.A. designation in 1975 and has been a
partner with the firm for 32 years. Kelly was administrative partner for JMH from 1980 to 2006 and enjoyed working with all the staff. He has experience with small and medium sized businesses; however his principal focus has been agricultural.
Kelly is currently Chairman of the Medicine Hat Alberta Motor Association, and is Governor on the provincial board of Alberta Motor Association. He is also the treasurer of the Community Foundation of Medicine Hat and Southeastern Alberta. Kelly is past president and past deputy governor of the Kinsmen Club. He spent many years playing and coaching both ball and hockey.
When Kelly is not spending time with his family, he enjoys gardening and carpentry. His next big project is building a cabin in the Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan. He looks forward to sharing this with his wife of 37 years, Barb, as well as his children, grandchildren, and extended family.
