Jerry brings with him 20 years of experience as a Certified Professional Accountant, and he also holds designations in both Canada and the United States. Over this period of time, he has dealt with both small businesses and large multi-national corporations. Jerry has assisted these entities with many of their needs, which include tax compliance, tax planning, assurance engagements, and obtaining financing from various financial institutions.
As a partner with JMH&CO, Jerry is a member of the JMH Assurance Committee. He assists this committee with the setting and implementing of JMH Assurance Standards, and in dealing with all types of Assurance engagements including Audit and Review engagements.
Jerry is very active in the Calgary community. He assists and volunteers his time in mentoring Mount Royal Entrepreneur students. He provides one and one advice and tax presentations to these students which assist with their business start-ups. He has also previously coached women’s basketball at the high school and college levels, and he is still also attempting to stay involved with children basketball programs and camps.
